In response to a class room assignment I posted a link on a
wiki involving an article on twitter entitled Twitter
etiquette for businesses: How to keep your followers I
would like to surmise this article for you now. This article includes a list of
6 suggestions for anyone involved in using a twitter. First of these rules states
that one should be careful when using hash tags in that they should make sense
for the discussion topic being brought up. Next is to respond to followers
since twitter is a networking tool to keep a conversation going. Third heuristic
this site makes is to vary it up a bit by talking about other things than you. The
forth rule to live by when tweeting is to stick to the 140 character limit of a
tweet since incomplete sentences are in essence a waste of space. The 5th
rule includes a corny/cute video where the actors involved treat use of
exclamation points as though it were an n addiction causing an AA like meeting
of bloggers. And the last rule of this site is to not ask for Re-tweets since
it is the spontaneity that is what generates a good back and forth.
